Job Description

Ackerman McQueen is seeking a self-starter who can oversee and optimize workflows for creative projects, and ensure every project is properly managed and delivered. The Creative Services Manager will manage creative resources and author timelines that align with project scope. They will manage a team of creative professionals including creative directors, designers, and copywriters through the process of transforming ideas into tangible work products that meet business objectives. Critically important to the success of this role is the ability for continual in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with creative directors, designers and copywriters and stakeholders to manage all creative projects
  • Participate in all project kickoffs
  • Manage resource assignments based on project requirements while tracking and reporting on progress as well as any deviation using Workamajig (agency project management tool) to ensure high-quality project delivery while ensuring workloads are manageable for individual resources
  • Lead vendor management
  • Work with in-house counsel to ensure creative product compliance
  • Work with executive teams to determine needs and opportunities
  • Lead weekly creative services team meetings
  • Partner with creative leadership in review cycles to ensure project meets quality standards and business objectives
  • Partner with the Video Production Manager to ensure seamless work processes across competencies
  • Foster clear communication between creative and account teams in order to make the collective accountable for successful delivery on behalf of the clients
  • Constantly look for ways to improve processes
  • Involvement in onboarding process for creative professionals

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in creative project management role
  • Self-starter capable of working independently
  • Organized multitasker
  • Strong project management skills
  • Deep attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Decisive decision maker
  • Ability to estimate creative resource time required to deliver on project scope
  • Ability to maintain composure under stress of managing concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital production
  • Ability to foster inter- and intra-teamwork
  • Knowledge of agency project management tools
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite a plus
