Bill joined Ackerman McQueen in 1983 as director of the accounting department. In 1987, after negotiating and successfully merging with another large national agency, he was named the CFO. In 1991, he added the title chief operating officer, a position he held until January 2010. Bill has guided the agency on the financial side through several mergers and acquisitions. He has been instrumental in the establishment of national and international offices, excellent banking relationships and the creation of multiple related entities utilized in the overall effectiveness and growth of Ackerman McQueen.

A certified public accountant, he came to AM from a national public accounting firm, with experience in tax, auditing and management service for a variety of corporate accounts, and is a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University.

Bill loves both golf and skiing, and is involved with AICPA/Oklahoma Society, United Way, First Tee and several other charitable causes that he supports financially and with his time.
