Clay currently serves as Executive Creative Director for the National Rifle Association (NRA) and AM's publishing department, designing and implementing monthly and quarterly magazines for the NRA.

He has provided creative direction on numerous projects for many of AM's clients, including: the National Rifle Association, the Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau, Thrifty Car Rental, Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, the American Clean Skies Foundation and Chesapeake Energy.

His work has won numerous awards, including a gold medal from the Society of Illustrators, an ADDY Best of Show and a gold medal from the International Association for Multi-Image.

A passionate volunteer, Clay was the chairman of the Pikes Peak Area United Way campaign in 2000, served two terms as president of the Children's Literacy Center and has served on the board of Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

Clay has a BFA from Oklahoma State University, where he was also a United States Track and Field Federation All-American (USTFF) in the mile relay.
