Melanie was hired by Marvin McQueen, one of the founders of the agency back in 1981, when he took one look at her resume, noted that she was a fellow Mizzou graduate and asked how soon she could start. Thirty-five years later, she has had the opportunity to work with three generations of McQueens, and continues to thrive as a leader in this dynamic industry. Currently, she works on the National Rifle Association account. Past work includes OSU-Tulsa, Integris, Williams Energy, Williams Communications, WilTel, Juniper Networks, Thrifty Car Rental, Saint Francis Hospital, Memorex Telex, Trammel Crow Company, Purolator, Utica Square and Bank of Oklahoma.
Melanie is heavily involved in community relations, and has served as a past chair of the University of Missouri Jefferson Club Board of Trustees, and as past member of the Holland Hall Preparatory School Board of Trustees.
