Nicole joins Ackerman McQueen after 17 years of experience in the nonprofit world. She began in 1999 by working as a researcher for the Assassination Archives and Research Center in Washington, DC. From 2003-2013, she worked for the National Rifle Association in development. Nicole was part of the leadership team that built the NRA Office of Advancement. When she left NRA in 2013, she held the position of Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. In 2013, she moved to Los Angeles to join the University of California—Los Angeles. As a member of the senior staff at UCLA during their $4.2 billion Centennial Campaign, Nicole served as Executive Director of Development focusing on Regional and Individual Giving.
Being raised by a father who has a deep interest in hunting and shooting, Nicole developed a passion for the outdoors and firearms. Shooting, hunting and fishing are among her favorite activities, along with traveling and cooking.
Nicole graduated from The George Washington University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History and minoring in English Literature. She also earned a Master in Public Administration, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from George Mason University.
