In 2005, "WinStar Casinos" was a single facility housing three connected casinos, situated off of I-35 on Oklahoma's border with Texas. Its goal was ambitious: gain a share of the Texan gamer market that was then making the long trek to Shreveport or other gaming-friendly locales.
The plan worked, and WinStar grew more than anyone anticipated. It took on global themes, becoming "WinStar World Casino" with eight glimmering plazas based on the world's greatest cities. The growth continued, with three luxurious hotel towers, pools, a 3,500-seat concert hall, a championship golf course, a world-class convention center and the world’s biggest casino. Through the years, our TV campaigns, weekly radio and outdoor matched the refinement and sophistication of what has become a destination unto itself: WinStar World Casino and Resort.
